OPERATING HOURS Lunch: Monday - Friday, 11to 3 Dinner: Monday - Saturday, 5 to 10 Closed Sunday The Chophouse Restaurant was established in May, 1999 in the former Goings Hotel by Ed and Phyllis Vanscoy.In May 2010, the restaurant was purchased by Charles and April Schlesselman. Charles was directly responsible for the tremendous success of another local restaurant, as the General Manager for 10 years. The success of the Chophouse stems from providing our guests excellent service and food on a consistent basis. From opening through the current day, we pride ourselves on each guest leaving the establishment satisfied and returning on a regular basis. We purchase the finest and freshest food available. The steaks are hand cut in our kitchen using only premium Certified Angus beef, aged in-house. The fish is flown in directly from both coasts and all desserts are made in house. Each meal at the Chophouse is cooked when ordered; not pre-cooked and stored for service. Most importantly, we continually review how we operate, incorporating our guest comments into improving the operation on a daily basis.
